Backups that actually work: sized to your needs, protected against ransomware, and above all — restore-tested. Because a backup that has never been restored is just a hope.

Who it’s for
Twenty years of family photos on a single laptop. A failing disk, a theft, a spilled coffee — and everything is gone. A home NAS or a properly configured cloud backup changes everything.
Your accounting, client files and contracts on one workstation. Without a tested backup, a single failure can cost weeks of rebuilding — or clients.
A server, shared folders, and backups that have been “running” for years. Are they really? Would they survive ransomware that encrypts the backups too? That can be verified.
Concretely
Where your data lives, what is genuinely critical, what is already covered — and what isn’t.
NAS (Synology, QNAP), Swiss or international cloud backup, site-to-site replication, versioning. The right tool for your budget — recommended independently of any vendor.
Immutable or offline copies, multiple versions, separate accounts: a backup an attacker cannot encrypt along with everything else.
The step everyone skips: we actually restore files together, so the day it matters is not a discovery.
A simple document: what is backed up, where, how often, and how to restore. You stay in control.
Pricing

Frequently asked
It’s better than nothing — but a permanently connected drive gets encrypted by ransomware along with the computer, and a drive in a drawer is only backed up the day you remember it. A real backup is automatic, versioned, and includes an off-site copy.
If that matters to you — and for some activities it’s a legal requirement — the solution is built with Swiss or fully local storage. That choice is yours and is discussed from the start.
You do, autonomously, thanks to the documentation — that’s the goal. If you prefer to delegate, a periodic check (backup verification and restore test) can be agreed, at the frequency you choose.
Rarely. Most setups are done remotely; an on-site visit remains possible in French-speaking Switzerland when hardware requires it, such as commissioning a NAS.
WhatsApp offers automatic backup to Google Drive (Android) or iCloud (iPhone), but it has its limits: it doesn’t protect against a hacked account, and many people only discover on the day they switch phones that it was never turned on or hadn’t run recently. During a support session, we check that the backup is actually running, test it, and make sure it fits into your broader backup strategy — not just WhatsApp, but all your important data.
If a versioned backup is in place, yes: recovering deleted files—or a previous version of a document—takes just a few clicks. This is one of the main advantages of a true backup compared to a simple external drive, which often only keeps a single copy. If you don’t have a backup, procedures still exist to attempt to recover your data.
